Website management

Your opening hours changed. Why is updating the website a project?

Changing a photo, price or opening time should not sit on your to-do list for weeks. The real question is who handles those changes after the website launches.

The problem often starts before launch

In a Reddit discussion about redesigning a business website, the owner put ease of internal maintenance near the top of the requirements. That is a practical concern: an editor is only useful if someone has the access, time and confidence to use it.

Before choosing a platform, list the changes you expect over the next three months. Seasonal hours, new photographs and revised service descriptions are different tasks from adding a booking system or a new language. Decide who will handle each.

Choose an update process you will actually use

Doing your own edits can make sense when you want control and are comfortable checking the result. Ask to try a real change before the handover rather than assuming the editing screen will be easy.

Managed updates are another option. You send the change and someone publishes it within an agreed timeframe. Compare this with the time you would spend learning the platform, keeping credentials organised and checking that the page still works on a phone.

Make a small-edit request unambiguous

Send the page or section, the current text, the replacement and any image you want to use. Include when it should go live and whether the change is permanent. “Change Friday closing time from 18:00 to 20:00” is easier to deliver accurately than “fix our hours”.

Keep the information consistent in your Google Business Profile and social accounts as well. Updating the website does not automatically update every other place where customers find the business.

How RMflow handles ongoing changes

RMflow’s €79/month service starts in the second month and includes hosting, technical management and small edits to existing text, photographs, hours and links. Send a clear request on WhatsApp; the agreed edits are completed within two working days.

New pages or sections, additional languages, custom functions and complex integrations are separate work. The monthly fee is not unlimited development. Agree on the scope in writing so you know which requests are included and which need a quote.

Keep the setup and monthly service clear

For the first three clients, the one-page website setup is €590 paid in full before starting, with two rounds of revisions before launch. VAT applies where applicable. Ask how domain registration and renewals are handled and what happens if management ends.

RMflow’s cancellation notice is 30 days and the domain is registered in your name. Visit the homepage to see the offer and delivery process before deciding whether managed updates fit how your business works.

A couple of useful answers.

Can I send a change outside working hours?

You can send the request anytime on WhatsApp. Included edits are completed within two working days; sending at night does not mean immediate delivery.

Does the monthly fee include new pages?

No. New pages, sections, languages and functions are separately scoped and quoted.
