Test beyond your own laptop
A Reddit website owner asked for help with a site that was particularly slow on mobile. The useful lesson is to test that experience directly, rather than assuming desktop performance tells the whole story. It does not prove every site has the same technical cause.
Open your page on a phone using a normal mobile connection. Try a first visit, not only a page already loaded several times. Check when the main information appears and when you can use the contact button.
Check the customer task as well as loading
Can someone read the service description without zooming? Are buttons separated enough to tap? Does a floating control cover the booking link? Can the visitor find the service area and complete the next step without a desktop menu?
Ask another person to perform one task, such as finding the price information or opening the contact route. Watch where they pause. A page can load quickly and still make that task hard.

Investigate before removing things at random
Large hero images, unnecessary scripts, video and third-party widgets can add work, but a specific site needs a measured diagnosis. Google’s Largest Contentful Paint guidance explains how the loading of the main visible content can be delayed by several parts of the delivery process.
Use PageSpeed Insights as a starting point and distinguish a lab test from real-user data where available. Keep your privacy and consent requirements intact; deleting a cookie notice just to improve a test score is not a sensible fix.
How RMflow approaches the page
RMflow’s standard offer is a focused, custom one-page website built for mobile reading and a clear contact action. We organise the content around the business instead of adding functions simply because a template includes them.
The delivery includes responsive layouts and the agreed WhatsApp, phone or existing booking route. We can assess whether a focused replacement fits your needs; the standard package is not an open-ended optimisation service for any existing platform or a guarantee of a particular speed score.
Make the mobile check part of updates
Repeat the key task after adding photos, changing the contact link or making a significant edit. An update that looks good on desktop can create a new problem on a narrow screen.
Visit the RMflow homepage to open the concept demos on your phone and review the scope. The launch setup is €590 for the first three clients, paid before starting, then €79/month from the second month for hosting and small updates, with VAT where applicable.
A couple of useful answers.
Can one speed score tell me whether the site is good?
No. Check loading alongside readability, navigation and whether the customer can complete the intended task.
Does the standard RMflow package fix any WordPress site?
No. It covers a new custom one-page site and agreed management. Work on an existing platform needs its own assessment and scope.
