Planning

How much does a small business website cost?

A website quote is only useful when you know what it includes. Compare the finished site, the ongoing work and the terms—not just the number at the bottom.

Start with the job your website needs to do

A café that needs to show its menu and receive booking enquiries has a different brief from a shop that needs online payments, stock and delivery rules. Before asking for a price, write down one sentence: “The website should help visitors do ___.” That decision determines the pages and features worth paying for.

A one-page website can work well when your offer is focused. Multiple locations, distinct services and a large catalogue may need separate pages. Ask the supplier to explain the proposed structure in relation to your customers, rather than selling you a page count.

Compare five things in every quote

Ask who supplies the copy and photographs, how many pages and languages are included, which functions actually work, how many revision rounds you get, and who handles the site after launch. A booking button that opens an existing service is different from building a booking system.

Request an itemised scope. “SEO included” is too vague on its own: ask whether it means page titles, indexability, a sitemap, content research or ongoing work. Likewise, hosting does not automatically include future edits.

What RMflow costs

The launch offer is €590 for a custom one-page website for the first three clients. Payment is due in full before work starts. Hosting and small updates cost €79/month from the second month. VAT applies where applicable.

The website includes two rounds of revisions and a contact route such as WhatsApp, phone or your existing booking link. The seven working days start after full payment, receipt of your materials and approval of the direction. Missing materials pause the timeline.

Separate small edits from new work

The monthly service covers technical management and edits to existing text, images, opening hours and links. You can send a request on WhatsApp anytime; edits are completed within two working days. Extra pages, languages, integrations and new custom functions need a separate quote.

Before committing, get written confirmation of domain registration and renewal costs, account ownership, cancellation terms and what happens to the website if management ends. RMflow’s cancellation notice is 30 days and the domain is registered in your name; the proposal sets out the full terms.

A short checklist before you say yes

Ask for the total due before launch, the monthly cost and its start date. Check the revision limit, the material you must provide and the deadline conditions. Open the supplier’s examples on your own phone and try the contact buttons.

Do not buy a promise of guaranteed enquiries. A good website makes your offer easier to understand and contact easier to complete; demand, competition, visibility and follow-up also affect the result.

A couple of useful answers.

Is the €590 fee paid in instalments?

No. The €590 setup fee is paid in full before work starts.

When does the €79 monthly fee begin?

It begins in the second month. The first month is covered by the setup offer.
